First Big Piece (for Mom's Christmas)

I have to say, my Mom has always been my biggest fan. Except when my Dad was alive, then it was a tie!! Her home looks like an art gallery with me as the resident artist! She has pieces of mine from high school (and grade school, YIKES!). So I embarked on my first large piece. This piece took me months to create. Thank goodness I started this in July, 2010 or it never would have been finished in time for Christmas. As it was, the last month was a colored pencil frenzy.
