Cherished

This piece is recreated from a book cover that I really liked.  It includes an old book published in the 1930's, Lisianthus and daisies, and a locket that Steve, my husband, gave to our daughter, Carissa, for her 16th birthday.  I used Strathmore 400 paper and FC Polychromos.

  2. Thanks Patty! You know the trials and tribulations that go into each piece and still love me when it's finished. This one was no exception. Thanks for the kind words!

  3. WHAT???? Nothing new posted yet??? I would have thought that you'd be finished with a fox in snow, or ferret painting a portrait. Maybe a beach ball? Oh well, I'll check back soon!

  4. I think this one is my favorite - I really love the different textures. You are so talented! I still have the puffin you gave me all those years ago - it's hanging in the bird's room, appropriately enough! :-)
