Fruit Splash!!

I have begun my next project.  Well, actually, I  began it about 2 weeks ago.  I have had a few other things on my plate so.......
For this project I am using a reference photo taken by Dusan Zidar.  I am using my much loved Faber Castell Polychromos and Holbeins on Bristol Board.

Lime Splash - Progress

I got a bit more done today.  Though I would get in on here as my next available art time won't be until middle of next week.  Still need to tweak the rind on the foremost lime.

I have had the good fortune to be able to put many hours into my art this weekend.  As you can see, I have gotten a bit done!

Progress

Had an opportunity to work on Lime Splash the last couple days.  This piece is definitely time intensive!  I'm still tweaking but close to what I'm getting at!

Lime Splash

My most current work is entitled:  Lime Splash.  It is from a reference picture by Mark Lewin.  I am doing it with Faber-Castell Polychromos on Stonehenge Vellum Finish 250 gsm paper.

Cherished

This piece is recreated from a book cover that I really liked.  It includes an old book published in the 1930's, Lisianthus and daisies, and a locket that Steve, my husband, gave to our daughter, Carissa, for her 16th birthday.  I used Strathmore 400 paper and FC Polychromos.
